The JIMIsCAPs were first designed in 1998 by me, my mom, and my Uncle James. Our goal was simple: to create a cap that would eliminate sweat and provide comfort and support for anyone wearing a sports helmet, hard hat, cosplay headgear, mascot, or costume entertainers. The idea came to life when we wanted to make a cap that could keep people cool and dry in high-intensity environments, whether on the football field or at work.
Our journey started with football. From 1998 to 2006, we proudly supplied the entire NFL with our innovative skull caps. But we didn’t stop there. We expanded into other industries, supplying theme parks across the country, and later, we were trusted by Caltrans, California’s transportation department, to provide our caps to their workers.
In 2023, after the passing of my uncle, my wife and I decided to reintroduce JIMIsCAPs, bringing back the original design and manufacturing locally in the U.S.A. Today, our cap is still made with the same durable, moisture-wicking material that has made it the go-to choice for comfort and dryness.
